 It took 5 field goals for Papillion Lavista to subdue intra city rival South as the Monarchs emerged victorious 23-20 in overtime. Chris Meier booted a state record 5th 3 pointer to give Coach Gene Suhr the hard earned victory.It took Meier's 33 yard effort with 13 seconds left in regulation to tie the game. Statistically, the Monarchs held the edge, 394-182 in total yards.

However, the winners had to come up with a big stop when Titan coach Mark Fritch elected to go on 4th down in overtime. Papillion Lavista got the stop, then went for the game winning field goal on the next play.This week, the Monarchs go on the road to face Omaha Burke.
