Omaha Bryan dropped to 3-5 following Friday night's 6-28 loss to Omaha Burke.
Both teams remained scoreless through the first quarter but the Bears were unable to contain the Burke offense as they took a 7-0 lead at the half. The Bryan offense was unable to get on track until the fourth quarter when Dino Armetta scored on a 27-yard touchdown run.

The Omaha Bryan Bears were unable to overcome the early Bellevue East lead in Friday night's 20-56 loss.
Quarterback Dino Armetta scored twice for Bryan including a 27-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and a 51-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. Armetta added to the Bears scoring connecting with Aaron Williams on a 48-yard touchdown pass in the third. Both teams were held scoreless in the fourth quarter.
Omaha Bryan will face Omaha Burke Friday night.

Omaha Bryan dropped to 3-3 following Friday night's 10-16 loss to host Omaha Northwest.
Marvin Thompson tied the game at 7 on an 80-yard run in the second quarter. The Bears took the lead in the third quarter on a 35-yard field goal by Sigmund before Northwest tied the score again in the fourth taking the game to overtime. Omaha Bryan was unable to respond to the Northwest scoring in overtime to give Northwest the win.
Omaha Bryan hosts Bellevue East Friday night.

Quarterback Dino Armetta sparked the Omaha Bryan Bears to a 24-20 win over Millard South Friday night. Armetta carried the ball 11 times for 86-yards including a 4-yard touchdown run in the third quarter for the final Bear score in the game. Armetta was 5 for 8 passing and had a 73-yard punt.
The Bears scored on a 48-yard Marvin Thomson run and a 73-yard touchdown run to start the scoring for the Bears in the first quarter. Thompson had 187 yards in the game that included the two touchdown runs.
The Bear defense did a good job keeping Millard South out of the end zone allowing them to score only one touchdown in the first half and two in the fourth quarter.
Omaha Bryan faces Omaha Northwest on Friday night.

The Bryan Bears faced a strong Bellevue West on their home turf Friday night in a 42-8 loss for the Bears.
The Bryan offense was unable to get on the board until the fourth quarter when Jeff Hanson scored on a 20-yard pass from Dino Armetta and David Grabenschroer received a 2-yard pass from Armetta for the 2-point conversion.
The Bears host Millard South for Friday night's game.

Omaha Bryan, hoping to put win number 2 in the books after downing Omaha South, dropped a 35-14 decision to powerful Millard West.
The Bears rode the arm of Dino Armetta, who threw for 133 yards and had the Bears on top 14-13 at halftime. However, the Cats put 22 points on the board in the 2nd half, sparked by Tyler Jones, who scored 3 touchdowns and ran for 179 yards.
Bryan takes on Norfolk this Friday night.

The Bryan Bears turned to Dan Grabenschroer for offensive firepower and the sturdy fullback responded with 73 yards on 16 carries, scoring 3 touchdowns to lead the Bears to an upset win over Norfolk,35-28. Bryan now gears for a showdown with unbeaten Bellevue West Friday on the T-Birds home turf.
