Omaha Central claimed a 28-21 victory over Papillion LaVista South Thursday night.

The Eagles offense was led by Robert Wesley's 221 yards rushing on 32 carries. Wesley opened the scoring for the Eagles with a 51-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. Central scored again in the second quarter on a Robert Wesley 4-yard touchdown run and again in the third quarter on a 15-yard touchdown run by Wesley. Grixby added to the Central score on a 7-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter securing the Eagles 28-21 win over Papillion LaVista South.

Omaha Central hosts #1 Millard West next Friday night.

Omaha Central led 14-0 going into the half against Bellevue West but were unable to hold the Thunderbirds in their miraculous second half comeback. The Eagles were defeated 24-14 in Friday night's game.

Robert Wesley led the Eagles with 171 yards rushing on 39 carries as Central dominated the first half. Wesley scored the first touchdown of the game on a 2-yard run in the first quarter. Craig Ecabert added a second touchdown for Central on a 13-yard run in the second quarter giving the Eagles a 14-0 lead at half.

Central travels to Papillion LaVista South for Friday night's match up.

Omaha Central outscored Omaha Benson 42-21 Friday night when the Eagles hosted the Benson Bunnies.

Benson stayed even with the Eagles through the first quarter for a 14-14 score at the end of the first quarter. Robert Wesley scored twice for Central, first on a 65-yard punt return and later on a 7-yard run.

Central opened a 13 point lead in the second quarter on a 6-yard run by Wesley and a 37-yard interception return by Hill. Central score two more times in the game. In the third quarter the Eagles scored on a 36-yard pass from Dorsey to Smith followed by another 5-yard run by Wesley in the fourth quarter for the final 42-21 win.

Central hosts Bellevue West Friday night

Omaha Central moved to 1-1 for the season with an 18-32 loss to third ranked Omaha Westside on Friday night.

Central tied the game at 18 when Robert Wesley scored on a 1-yard touchdown plunge with 4:47 left in the third quarter. Wesley ran for 106 yards and Senior quarterback Aaron Dorsy passed for 149 yards and one touchdown as well as ran for a score in the Friday night game. This week, the Eagles will take on winless Benson.
