11/8 It took some time to get the offense cranked up, but Creighton Prep overcame an 8-nothing deficit to hand the Bulldogs a 36-8 setback and advance into the semifinal round against powerful Kearney. The Jays rolled up 292 yards on the ground and finished with 483 yards in total offense. Leading the rushing attack were Mark Waring, 134 yards on 19 carries, Ryan Fisicaro, 72 yards on 15 carries, and Mike McLeay, 81 yards on 9 attempts. McLeay scored 3 times for the Jays, who held the host team to 6 yards on the ground.Quarterback Dan Gorski completed 5-11 passes for 191 yards, including a 65 yard strike to 6-7 tight end Zach Potter.

Prep will host Kearney at UNO's Al Caniglia field on Saturday. A game time will be determined this week.

October 28

Creighton Prep holds off Millard West at the goal line to claim a 13-6 win in Wednesday night's match up at Phelps Field.

The Junior Jay defense played an impressive game Wednesday holding Millard West to two field goals in the first quarter and staying solid in the final minutes to prevent the Wildcats from scoring from 1-yard out.

Creighton Preps' offense took the 7-6 lead in the third quarter when Dan Gorski scored on a 2-yard run with Mike Stillmock adding the extra point. In the fourth quarter, the Junior Jays secured the win with two Mike Stillmock field goals from 45-yards and 38-yards.  

October 25  

The Junior Jays defeated Omaha Central 49-7 Friday night at Berquist Stadium to help Coach Tom Jaworski tie the career win record at 293.

Senior quarterback Dan Gorski led the Creighton Prep attack as the Junior Jays took an early 7-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Junior Jay offense added 28 points in the second quarter as the defense held Omaha Central scoreless through 3 quarters. The Prep offense scored twice in the second half for the 49-7 win.

#3 Creighton Prep closes out the regular season Wednesday night at Phelps field when they host #1 Millard West.

October 18

The Junior Jays defeated a young Papillion LaVista South 54-7 Friday night to improve to 6-1 for the season.

Creighton Prep accumulated 340 yards rushing in Friday nights win over the Titans including Anthony Salcedo's 81 yards with 2 touchdowns on 8 carries. Andy Keith added 3 touchdowns in his 11 carries for 45 yards with Mark Waring contributing 55 yards on 5 carries with one touchdown. Quarterback Dan Gorski also scored on a 1-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

#3 Creighton Prep faces Omaha Central at Berquist Stadium Friday night.

The Junior Jays claim a 35-0 win over host Omaha Benson Friday night improving their record to 5-1 for the season.

Creighton Prep jumped off to an early 21-0 lead after the first quarter when Dan Gorski scored on a 1-yard run and McLeay scored on a blocked punt return and a 20-yard touchdown run. The Junior Jays scored twice in the second quarter on a 19-yard pass from Gorski to Terp and on a 37-yard pass from Gorski to Carlisle to take a 35-0 lead into the half while the defense held Omaha Benson scoreless.

#3 Creighton Prep hosts Papillion LaVista South Friday night.

****October 2

The Creighton Prep Junior Jays claimed a 35-0 lead over Omaha South at the half in Friday night's game at Caniglia field.

Mark Waring and Andy Keith ran for over 100 yards each in the first half with Waring finishing with 118 yards on 9 carries including a 31-yard touchdown run. Keith finished with 108 yards on 8 carries. Mike McLeay added 73-yards on 11 carries including touchdown runs of 4 and 26 yards.

Quarterback Dan Gorski added to the scoring with a 2-yard touchdown run and a 34-yard touchdown pass to Dave Carlisle.

The Junior Jays defense held Omaha South scoreless in the 35-0 win.

Creighton Prep travels to Omaha Benson for Friday night's game.

Creighton Prep claims a 13-10 overtime win over Papillion LaVista Friday night.

The Monarchs scored first but the Junior Jays answered quickly on a Dan Gorski 2-yard run and a Mike Stillmock kick. The scored remained tied at 7 at the end of the first quarter.

It was a defensive battle for the remainder of the game with a 7-7 score at the end regulation.

Papillion LaVista scored first in overtime. The Junior Jays immediately responded taking possession of the ball on the 10 and advancing 6-yards on first down on a Mike McLeay run. Andy Keith then powered the ball over the goal line to end the game and claim the 13-10 overtime win for the Junior Jays.

Creighton Prep will host Omaha Central Friday night.

Former Green Bay Quarterback Bart Starr will be the featured speaker at Creighton Prep's Sports night October 14th. Tickets are $50 a person and can be purchased by calling Tom Dineen at 393-1190. The Packer Hall of Famer will speak at 7 p.m. with the program commencing at 5:30 with a dinner and a silent auction.

9-17- Creighton Prep lost two key players Friday night against Westside and squandered a two touchdown
lead in the 3rd period as the host Warriors rallied to tie at the end of regulation and won it in overtime, 28-21.
Ryan Fisicaro ran for 185 yards and scored the opening touchdown on a 74 yard run. Defensively, the Junior Jays held the Warriors passing attack to just 86 yards, but still came up short. Quarterback Dan Gorski suffered a hip injury and didn't play in the second half.Fisicaro suffered an ankle injury and left late in the final quarter.
This Friday, Prep returns to Al Caniglia Field to play Papillion Lavista.

The top-ranked Junior Jays improved to 2-0 on the season with a 21-13 victory over number three Millard North on Friday night in front of 9,500 fans at UNO's Caniglia Field.

The game was a re-match of the 2003 State Championship game that was won by Millard North.  On this night, it was all Junior Jays.  Andy Keith led the ground attack for Prep with 74 yards on 10 carries and a pair of short scoring runs (one-yard and two-yards).  Ryan Fisacaro added the Jays other touchdown on a 4-yard run in the 4th quarter.  Prep senior signal caller Dan Gorski complete 4 of 8 passes for 115 yards. 

The Junior Jays travel to Westside on Friday night for another quality matchup.
